Salt is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive .NET web applications on Microsoft Azure, bridging client and distributed engineering teams. You will own MVP architecture, guide design reviews, and help shape multi-tenant SaaS data models while staying hands-on with critical components.

You will collaborate with the client’s architect and QA to ensure security, performance, and NFR validation, while championing agile practices and AI-assisted development tools like Cursor.

Aufgaben

• Own the technical solution for the MVP and align architecture with the client’s architect.
• Lead technical discovery covering architecture, integrations, non-functional requirements (NFRs), ERP REST APIs, and integration contracts.
• Design event-driven microservices with messaging contracts, ordering, idempotency, replay, and data consistency.
• Drive multi-tenant data isolation, RBAC, audit trails, electronic signatures, and data residency requirements.
• Guide distributed engineering teams through architecture and design reviews, code reviews, and best practices.
• Remain hands-on with critical technical components and complex implementation challenges.
• Coordinate framework upgrades, environment management, CI/CD pipeline changes, and releases.
• Collaborate with QA on technical acceptance criteria, performance testing, security, and NFR validation.
• Represent the engineering team in PI planning sessions and technical decision-making forums.
• Champion AI-assisted software development practices using tools such as Cursor.

The successful candidate will work onsite with the client’s architect and technical team, serving as the technical bridge between the client and a distributed engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical solution for the MVP and align architecture and implementation decisions with the client’s architect.
• Lead technical discovery covering system architecture, integrations, non-functional requirements (NFRs), ERP REST APIs, and integration contracts.
• Design event-driven microservices, including message contracts, ordering, idempotency, replay, late-arriving or backfilled device data, and data consistency.
• Drive multi-tenant data isolation, role-based permissions, audit trails, electronic signatures, and data residency requirements.
• Guide the distributed engineering team through architecture and design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Remain hands-on with critical technical components and complex implementation challenges.
• Coordinate framework upgrades, environment management, CI/CD pipeline changes, and software releases.
• Collaborate with QA teams on technical acceptance criteria, performance testing, security, and NFR validation.
• Represent the engineering team in PI planning sessions and technical decision-making forums.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in .NET web application development.
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect.
• Strong experience building cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including AKS/Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Redis, Key Vault, and API Management.
• Proven expertise in event-driven microservices architecture, including asynchronous messaging, idempotency, message ordering, eventual consistency, and failure recovery.
• Strong SQL Server expertise and experience designing multi-tenant SaaS data models.
• Hands-on experience with Dapper or explicit SQL-based data access.
• Working knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Terraform, and Helm.
• Understanding of security protocols and practices, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Strong client-facing communication skills and experience leading distributed engineering teams.
