Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Florida seeks a Technical Lead to optimize Oracle database performance. You will analyze execution plans, tune SQL, manage RAC and OEM-based monitoring, and oversee backups and recovery processes.

This role requires hands-on Oracle expertise and strong troubleshooting skills. Based in Lake Mary, FL, the position is a full-time on-site role with opportunities to work with cutting-edge Oracle technologies and participate in release management and performance

Qualifications

Experience as Oracle DBA with RAC and OEM
Strong knowledge of AWR/ASH and Oracle hints
Troubleshooting and release management skills

Responsibilities

Optimize SQL queries and analyze execution plans
Monitor database with OEM and tune Oracle objects
Ensure RMAN backups and recoveries, data guard basics
Stay updated with new Oracle features and best practices

Expectations from Role

Optimization of SQL query, Analyzing execution plans.
Create and maintain database objects likes Tables, Index, Sequence etc.
Monitoring Database using OEM. Tuning of Oracle objects.
Experience in Performance Tuning at Database and Application level.
Must have good troubleshooting skills.
Understanding Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), Oracle hints, Active Session History (ASH) reports is a must.
Strong knowledge of source control and release management tools.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.
Flexible to extend the work hours based on Project delivery need.
