Job summary

Procter & Gamble Iowa City plant is seeking a Technical Project Leader to own end-to-end technical readiness for next-generation packaging and product designs. You will bridge design concepts with high-speed manufacturing, leading engineering, R&D, and operations to deliver innovations on time and within budget.

You will direct the Technical Readiness Master Plan, manage manufacturing economics, and coordinate with plants and CM partners to ensure capability and readiness for mass launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, packaging development, or NPI in CPG, cosmetics, pharma, or food/beverage.
• Strong project management skills with scheduling software (MS Project or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing cost drivers, capex, and line efficiency metrics.
• Excellent executive communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic technical governance and own the Technical Readiness Master Plan across the project lifecycle.
• Design and execute validation plans, pilot production, line demonstrations, and scale-up validation.
• Own manufacturing economics, capital budgeting, and TDC modeling; build integrated CPS schedules.
