Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group is seeking a Technical Communicator & Certified Dealer Trainer to act as the primary technical resource within the dealership and to coordinate dealer training programs. The role improves product resolution cycles, enhances technician diagnostic and repair abilities, and shares best practices across service locations.

The position also delivers John Deere-certified dealer training, ensuring technicians meet certification standards and stay current with product

Qualifications

5+ years in service/parts ops; training exp preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Experience with John Deere diagnostic tools (Service ADVISOR™, Parts ADVISOR™, JDLink™, CCMS).
Proven ability to analyze technical issues and communicate solutions.
Experience delivering technical or certification training preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
HS diploma or GED required; technical/business degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary technical resource for technicians, service managers, advisors, parts teams, and customers.
Lead and coordinate certified dealer training programs across locations.
Investigate machine issues using CCMS, JD tools, and external resources.
Document CCMS cases and coordinate with John Deere factory support.
Prepare service dept. reports to drive efficiency, quality, and growth.
Identify training needs and gaps to ensure workforce readiness.
