Abacus Technology is seeking a Technical Intelligence Specialist to support the TAAS program at Hanscom AFB. This full-time position is located in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities include providing all-source threat intelligence to the Mission Worthiness Assessment, researching, preparing briefings, and engaging with the IC community on strategic communications. Travel 2–4 times annually. U.S. citizen with a current Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in engineering for acquisition programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Provide system engineering and technical analysis inputs for major acquisition decisions.
• Identify intelligence requirements early in the lifecycle to minimize risk.
• Knowledge of Python and/or R is a plus.
• Experience using MS Excel functions; macros a plus.
• Understand and interpret system engineering models.
• Apply knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum and wave propagation.
• Must have attention to detail, process focus, and briefing senior leaders.
• Willing to travel ~2–4 times/year within CONUS.
• Must be a US citizen and hold a Top Secret clearance.

Technical Intelligence Specialist

Job Location: US-MA-Hanscom AFB

Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Technical Intelligence Specialist to support sensitive program development for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to AFNWC/NCW Integration Division by providing all-source threat intelligence to the Mission Worthiness Assessment.
• Support AFNWC/NC Intel OSF by conducting research, preparing briefings, and participating in the IC community of interest related to strategic communications.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in engineering for acquisition programs. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Able to provide system engineering and technical analysis level inputs in support of major acquisition decisions and in accordance with current acquisition guidelines. Able to identify intelligence requirements early in the lifecycle to minimize cost, schedule, and performance risks. Demonstrated use of predictive statistics. Knowledge of coding in Python and or R is a plus. Experience using a wide variety of MS Excel functions (development of macros is a plus). Able to understand and interpret system engineering models of a platform/system. Able to apply knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum and wave propagation theory. Must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a focus on processes, and be comfortable briefing senior leaders. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be willing to travel approximately 2-4 times a year for up to a week at a time within CONUS. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $135,000-$153,000. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
