The successful candidate will teach career and technical courses and perform administrative work at the CMU Tech Electric Lineworker Campus. This is an 11-month appointment.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.* Teach 15 credit hours per semester and maintain 5 hours of office hours per week.* Work independently, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students.* Demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in the field of electric lineworking, using the most current equipment, and other technology to enhance instruction in necessary areas.* Working knowledge and skill of up-to-date industrial trade principles, methods, and techniques* Determine program needs, maintain equipment, and maintain program budget* The successful applicant will positively interact with students, business and industry representatives, other educators and educational institution representatives, and the public in a professional manner* Assist in recruitment, advisement, placement, development of cooperative work experience opportunities for students and follow-up of students* Serve as representative of the department by participating in committees, task forces, and events at the campus, college, and/or state levels* Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
