The Instructor plays a key role in helping our customers and partners build knowledge, increase user adoption, and promote best practices through engaging, high-impact learning experiences. You are a passionate instructor and communicator, skilled in delivering virtual and hybrid instructor-led sessions, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. As a member of a small and growing team, you'll help define scalable delivery processes, experiment with new training formats, and contribute to Sigma's broader enablement strategy.

Responsibilities
  1. Understand the product platform and the knowledge requirements of various technical personas such as data analysts, analytics engineers, data architects, and administrators.
  2. Deliver engaging instructor-led training sessions for customers, partners, and employees.
  3. Design and maintain hands-on learning content, including case studies and datasets, based on adult learning principles with clear objectives and logical progression.
  4. Serve as a subject-matter expert in curriculum development, providing feedback, suggesting new topics, and aligning content with platform capabilities.
  5. Stay updated on product features and incorporate changes, support issues, and user feedback into training content.
  6. Track and report on training impact metrics like learner satisfaction, engagement, and adoption.
  7. Collaborate with Product, Support, and Documentation teams to improve curriculum and address friction points.
  8. Work with customer and partner teams on educational materials, regional events, and promoting new offerings.
  9. Support operational tasks and special projects related to training logistics.
Qualifications
  1. 5+ years in the technology industry, with 3+ years in a training role focused on content creation and delivery (live and digital).
  2. Strong presentation and facilitation skills, familiar with engaging diverse learner audiences.
  3. Deep knowledge of cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift) and BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
  5. Portfolio demonstrating training delivery or instructional design.
  6. Experience building curriculum based on adult learning theories, with structured paths and exercises.
  7. Ability to use analytics and feedback to improve training content.
  8. Willingness to travel occasionally (~<10%).
Additional Job Details

The salary range is $125,000 - $150,000 annually, with potential variations based on experience. The role includes variable pay, stock options, and benefits.
