Job summary

VEGA Americas, Inc. in Mason, Ohio is hiring for our Training department to design and deliver technical courses to customers and internal staff.

This role requires overnight travel, about half the time, and when not traveling you’ll work on-site at our Mason headquarters. The successful instructor will mentor colleagues, improve course content, and ensure quality throughout course lifecycles, aligning with regulatory and Quality Management System requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business related field.
• AND 2 years of instructor base experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical training courses to customers and employees.
• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
• Mentor other instructors in the subject matter and delivery techniques.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
• Facilitating training programs in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System.
• Maintains technical knowledge by participating in VEGA product and industry educational training opportunities.
• Reports data on completed courses, issues, and absences.
• Determines overall effectiveness of programs by feedback and improvements.
• Liaise with fellow instructors to provide consistent delivery and ongoing support.

We are hiring for our growing Training department!

This position does require overnight travel, 50% of the time. When not travelling this position works on-site from our Mason, OH Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical training courses to customers and employees.
• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
• Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
• Facilitating training programs in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System.
• Maintains technical knowledge by participating in VEGA product and industry educational training opportunities.
• Reports data on completed courses, issues, and absences.
• Determines overall effectiveness of programs and training by listening to feedback and making improvements as necessary.
• Liaise with fellow instructors to provide/ensure consistent delivery, on-going support, learning and mentoring and demonstrating a strong team spirit and work ethic at all times.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business related field or equivalent experience
• AND 2 years of instructor base experience.
• Experience in the health science field is a plus
