Job summary

VEGA Americas is hiring a Training Instructor to deliver technical courses and certifications for customers and employees. The role requires 50% overnight travel and on-site work at the Mason, OH headquarters when not traveling.

You will mentor fellow instructors, continuously improve course content, and ensure quality across the course life cycle in a fast-moving industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business related field or equivalent experience.
• AND 2 years of instructor base experience.
• Experience in the health science field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical training courses for customers and employees.
• Continuously enhance instructional delivery and presentation skills.
• Mentor fellow instructors in subject matter and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
• Facilitating training programs in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System.
• Maintains technical knowledge by participating in VEGA product and industry educational training opportunities.
• Reports data on completed courses, issues, and absences and monitors program effectiveness.
• Liaise with fellow instructors to provide/ensure consistent delivery, ongoing support, learning and mentoring and demonstrate teamwork.

We are hiring for our growing Training department!

This position does require overnight travel, 50% of the time. When not travelling this position works on-site from our Mason, OH Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical training courses to customers and employees.

• Determines overall effectiveness of programs and training by listening to feedback and making improvements as necessary.
• Liaise with fellow instructors to provide/ensure consistent delivery, on-going support, learning and mentoring and demonstrating a strong team spirit and work ethic at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business related field or equivalent experience
• AND 2 years of instructor base experience.
• Experience in the health science field is a plus
