Dattner Architects is seeking an experienced Technical Field Representative to join the team for a NYC School Construction Authority project. Based in a field office in Richmond Hill, Queens, with some work at the Midtown office, you will play a key role in on-site observations, submittals, RFIs, and punch listings to protect the design intent.

• Strong technical knowledge of building design and construction.
• Demonstrated construction administration experience on-site.

Responsabilités

• Represent the firm on-site during construction of the new school.
• Perform on-site observations and document progress through field reports.
• Prepare clear meeting minutes, clarifications, submittals, and RFIs.
• Coordinate with design team to uphold design intent and respond to site conditions.
• Manage punch lists and ensure timely resolutions with contractors.

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Field Representative to represent our firm on-site during the construction of a new school for the NYC School Construction Authority. This position will be based at a field office in Richmond Hill, Queens, with some engagement at our main office in Midtown (note that proper safety protocols will be in place, following current guidelines from OSHA and the CDC). This important role will be a well-integrated member of the design team for this new school.Dattner Architects is a women-owned firm.
