The Technical Field Advisor (TFA) provides on-site technical direction for customer-owned utility and nuclear power plants' Steam Turbine Generator Systems. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering documents, troubleshooting, planning, organizing resources, and ensuring safe maintenance and repair of power generation equipment. Additional duties may support our Steam Power vision and core values.

Your Role:

• Perform on-site installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of systems and equipment.
• Lead outage crews, including crafts, union technicians, and onsite service teams.
• Respond to emergency repairs and provide technical guidance to customer representatives.
• Prepare technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and manage job documentation.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained and work reflects technical requirements.
• Support aftermarket upgrades and perform walk-downs during installations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associates degree with 8+ years of experience in power plant maintenance or relevant fields, or High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience.
• Ability to travel 80% annually and obtain/maintain a valid passport.
• Completion of required training programs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting outages, installations, and OEM equipment.
• Strong customer service, project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and able to travel domestically and internationally.

Employment is contingent upon background checks and drug screening. The salary range in the U.S. is $104,200 - $138,900 annually, influenced by experience and location. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and more.
