Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Sales Support Estimator to drive and manage the technology and evaluation stage of the sales process, collaborating with Account Executives as the key technical advisor.

The role involves designing installed solutions, preparing estimates, and coordinating with vendors and AHJ. Expected salary range is $80,000-$110,000 annually plus incentives, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; meet customer needs.
• Ability to take initiative and pursue proactive improvements.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Designs and documents installed solutions with moderate complexity per project requirements.
• Prepares estimates and quotes for each project using estimation software; assists with RFIs/RFPs.
• Communicates proactively with colleagues, vendors, consultants and AHJ.
• Advises on products needed for installation and lead times; coordinates with sales and project teams.
• Assists with submittal booklets and review of shop drawings and wiring diagrams.
