This role is supporting our Enterprise Imaging (https://business.optum.com/en/operations-technology/enterprise-imaging.html) team within OptumInsight. As a Workflow Intelligence Technical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless setup and configuration of Windows Servers. Your expertise will be crucial in the installation and configuration of the Workflow Intelligence suite of products for new customers, as well as upgrading existing customers to the latest versions. This position demands a proactive approach to technical challenges and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.



This is a remote role based in the United States. To be considered, you must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time based on business needs.



You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Installation of Workflow Intelligence System at customers' site

  • Diagnose software and hardware malfunctions

  • Perform Final Quality Assurance and complete Installation documentation

  • Attend and participate in project meetings

  • Assist with various process improvement initiatives and administrative tasks

Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of IT experience building and configuring systems in Windows within the healthcare industry

  • Experience supporting both internal and external customers

  • Willingness to complete a government background check to participate in government-based projects as needed

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Intermediate level of experience with HL7

  • Intermediate level of experience with SQL databases and Transact-SQL

  • Experience in the medical imaging industry, specifically radiology or cardiology

  • Experience with DICOM

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
