Partnered with an Account Partner (Services Salesperson), the Technical Architect Director leads pre- and post-sales activities, acting as the technical authority across the product portfolio and engaging SMEs to develop comprehensive implementation proposals. This includes developing technical solutions, sizing efforts, identifying technical challenges such as integrations, usability, security, data migration, and third-party solutions. They oversee adoption and consumption of our technology, build customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and service delivery in collaboration with account leadership. Responsibilities may include:

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce solutions and clouds (Federal/Public Sector)
  • Ability to scope Salesforce projects and integrations
  • Pre-sales solutioning with Solution Engineers
  • Bringing public sector expertise
  • Driving outcomes through platform expertise
  • Aligning with customer IT departments and partners
  • Ensuring project operational compliance
  • Building executive relationships

To be successful, you have:

  • Reside in the Washington, DC metro area
  • 6-10 years of experience leading integration teams and architecting solutions
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience conducting technical workshops
  • Experience with services integrations (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday)
  • Understanding of infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, APIs, security, high availability, and performance tuning
  • Ability to work independently and learn quickly
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a matrixed, fast-growing organization, with skills in sizing and scoping Salesforce projects, developing customer relationships, and navigating complex internal and external relationships. Deep problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly ramp up are essential.

Must Have Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years delivering or overseeing solutions on the Salesforce Platform
  • 10+ years delivering consulting services, including team leadership and sales support
  • 2+ years sizing and scoping Salesforce projects
  • At least one Salesforce Application or System Architect certification
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years in pre-sales environment shaping large implementations
  • CTA or on the path toward one, with technical architecture experience
  • Multiple Salesforce architecture certifications
  • 5+ years enterprise project or program management experience
  • Strong communication, influence, and leadership skills
  • Experience leading teams to deliver complex Salesforce solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to build relationships across functions and levels
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Location open to the United States
