Meet the Team

As a Technical Enablement Architect (TEA) within the Technical Sales Role Mastery team, you will be responsible for sales, technology, architecture, and cross-architecture enablement, aligned by architecture and role to build expertise and enable our technical sellers globally. Your role involves coordinating strategy, planning, and execution of training programs, curriculum, and managing cross-functional teams focused on Cisco’s architectures and sales roles.

Collaborations

This strategic role involves working closely with Architecture leaders, Business Groups, and Sales Engineers. You will collaborate with SMEs, Instructional Designers, Program Managers, and various stakeholder groups to implement effective training programs that enhance technical selling performance.

Impact and Responsibilities
  • Align training initiatives with business priorities through regular meetings with enablement leads.
  • Work with Architecture Teams, BEs, and SMEs to develop relevant, accurate, and engaging training content.
  • Lead resource strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams to curate and develop technical training resources.
  • Evaluate and update sales training curriculum to remain relevant to Cisco’s business climate.
  • Manage projects independently, including strategy documentation and resource coordination.
  • Participate in recruiting efforts and report on program metrics and success stories.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance program collaboration, innovation, and cultural awareness across global teams.
  • Ensure projects follow structured processes for analysis, development, and evaluation, meeting deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience and at least 1 year in sales training or adult education.
  • Strong strategic planning, program management, and executive communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities, with a global perspective on business and technical landscapes.
  • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and technical resource development.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Education, or related fields.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
