Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Technical Editor to review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency. You will ensure that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary.

You will amend draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text and ensure proper

Qualifications

• Knowledge of national security classification procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and to adjust as priorities change.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (required).
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in technical editing of finished intelligence products within the IC, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, logic, clarity and consistency.
• Amend draft tables, tone boxes and graphics to align with accompanying text.
• Ensure language and presentation conform to agency publication standards.
• Verify proper classification markings according to IC guidance.
• Collaborate with authors and revise as needed; mentor and learn new skills.
