Job summary

Nalley Consulting seeks a Technical Editor for the DIA Headquarters. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience or 7 years in the IC, plus TS/SCI with CI poly or willingness to obtain poly.

Responsibilities include reviewing intelligence products for grammar, style, and accuracy, ensuring proper classification, and coordinating revisions with authors to improve narrative flow and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience or 7 years of relevant experience in intelligence community environments.
  • 2+ years writing/editing experience in an IC organization.
  • Knowledge of the intelligence community and its terminology.
  • Ability to proofread, edit, and ensure style and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, logic, clarity, and consistency.
  • Ensure adherence to agency publication standards and vocabularies in style guides.
  • Amend drafts and graphics to align with text and classifications per IC guidance.
  • Collaborate with authors to revise narratives and structure as needed.
