Job Description

Job Summary



The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying product fab documentation such as assembly drawings, MMIC package drawings, schematics, technical datasheets, printed circuit board fab drawings, and electrical test procedures. Will work with cross functional teams from engineering and production to insure that product documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with quality system standards.



Responsibilities:




  • Use CAD tools to create and modify 2D package drawings for RF MMIC components

  • Use CAD tools to create and modify assembly drawings for printed circuit boards

  • Update product technical datasheets to include latest performance data, specifications, and mechanical outline drawings

  • Implement engineering change orders, by updating bills-of-materials, and associated assembly drawings in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system

  • Ensure compliance with quality system processes and procedures

  • Work with engineers to document electrical test procedures for production

  • Build personal knowledge of products, processes, and technology



Required Qualifications:



  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Altium Designer Suite, or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of work experience with technical documentation or mechanical drafting.

  • Experience interpreting circuit schematics, block diagrams, mechanical drawings.

  • Familiar with quality management systems such as AS9100.

  • Skilled with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Visio.

  • This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree in engineering, or drafting certificate, equivalent experience will be acceptable for the right candidate (5+ years).

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.

  • Experience Printed circuit board design.
