Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and understand mechanical detail drawings and technical documentation.
• Develop spare parts lists from materials on projects.
• Use CAD or drawing viewers to retrieve parts details.
• Write project ABMs and Work Orders for purchasing per guidance from Project Engineer.
• Collect drawings and sub-assembly drawings for fabrication based on ABMs and Work Orders.
• Collaborate with multiple project teams to create required documents in a timely manner.
• Develop maintenance procedures for conveyor components in customer formats.
• Develop FMEA/PFMEA documents from system drawings and operation data.
• Read drawings and enter parts/BOM information into a parts database.
• Search and retrieve parts/BOM information from databases.
• Complete tasks within project schedules, including OT as needed.

Technical Documentation Specialist Assistant — Conveyor Division

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Be able to read and understand mechanical detail drawings and technical documentation.
• Be able to develop spare parts lists from materials ordered on various projects.
• Be able to utilize CAD or drawing viewers to retrieve parts details information.
• Be able to write project ABM’s and Work Orders to be sent to purchasing based on direction from the Project Engineer.
• Be able to collect the required drawings and sub-assembly drawings to send for fabrication based on the ABM’s and Work Orders.
• Must be able work with multiple project teams to create the required documents in a timely manner.
• Be able to develop maintenance procedures for various conveyor components and present them in the customer required formats.
• Be able to develop Failure Mode Effects Analysis documents (FMEA & PFMEA) in the customer required format based on systems drawings and sequence of operation information provided by Project Engineers.
• Be able to read drawings and enter parts / BOM information into a parts database.
• Be able to search & retrieve parts / BOM information from a database.
• Complete tasks within project schedule deadlines including working OT as required to meet dates.

Required Skills & Experience

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, related technical field or relevant job experience.
• Experience working both independently and in a team environment.
• Experience working with technical drawings and documents.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, positive “can-do” attitude.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SQL database systems.
• Experience with SharePoint and MS Dataverse environments.
• Experience with MS Power Apps.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner within a high-pressure environment.
