Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical lead and primary contact for maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition programs
  • Ensure high-quality technical deliverables are developed, submitted, and approved on schedule and within budget
  • Provide strategic leadership on MNCH and nutrition policies and programming
  • Develop and implement processes to achieve strategic technical goals of the Health Programs portfolio
  • Manage monitoring and evaluation activities, contributing to project work plans and reports
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree or its International Equivalent in a related field; clinical background in public health preferred
  • Minimum of 12+ years of relevant technical/project management experience, including 8+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience leading USG-funded MNCH and/or nutrition projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; fluency in a second language is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with national MOH personnel and local partners
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO)
  • Experience expanding successful models to improve quality clinical care in MNCH and nutrition
  • Proven track record in providing mentorship and supervision to strengthen healthcare services
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at various levels
  • Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and policies related to MNCH and nutrition
