Koolhaus Games Inc. is seeking a Technical Director to lead and mentor a talented group of game programmers. The role emphasizes technical direction, problem solving, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration with production and design teams.

You will drive R&D initiatives, oversee project planning, and ensure delivery of high‑quality software across mobile, PC or console platforms. A seasoned leader with shipping titles and strong tool proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 4+ years hands-on programming in the video game industry using OOP languages.
• Shipped at least 4 video game titles.
• Mobile, PC or console development experience required.
• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• 3+ years directly managing a team of 5+ software engineers.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical direction and problem solving for the team.
• Lead training, team building and personal/professional development.
• Drive R&D initiatives including AI, ML, AR; partner with universities.
