Job summary

ATSC is seeking a Technical Director in Gilbert, AZ to lead the architecture, integration, testing, and deployment of advanced C5ISR border surveillance and Counter-UAS solutions. You will translate customer mission requirements into scalable, resilient systems integrating radars, EO/IR sensors, communications, C2, AI/ML analytics, networking, cybersecurity, edge computing, and operator applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience developing and integrating complex defense or C5ISR systems.
• Proven experience leading integrated hardware/software solutions from concept to deployment.
• Strong background in systems engineering, integration & test, and requirements management.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system architecture and technical strategy.
• Translate requirements into system designs, interfaces, and road maps.
• Direct system integration, verification, validation, testing, and field deployment activities.
• Provide hands-on leadership across systems engineering, software, sensors, communications, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and integration teams.
• Resolve complex technical challenges involving interoperability, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support customer engagements, technical reviews, demonstrations, proposals, and new business pursuits.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation across surveillance and C5ISR solutions.
