Technical Director Business Apps – Permanent – Coral Gables, FL – $250,000- $275,000.

Our client is seeking a Technical Director Business Apps in Coral Gables, FL.

Role Description

The Technical Director of Technology is a proactive, self-starting leader who has a proven track record of leading engineering teams to achieve outstanding results. You’re a natural leader who still loves to keep your hands in technology and architecture. The Sr. Director thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces technology to solve business problems in a high-volume, high-scalability environment. This role will be a people manager so hiring, mentoring, and getting the very best out of bright engineers is critical. The ideal candidate will devise clear roadmaps to fruition and is comfortable thinking strategically and diving deep. A vanguard leader who can identify opportunities and leverage the team to translate them into live solutions.

Skills & Requirements
  1. 12+ years of ERP Technology Leadership / Management experience (people and processes) in very large, matrixed environments (must possess a minimum of 5 years in a director level role or above)
  2. Must possess very strong ERP Engineering / Integration experience – extensive experience delivering ERP solutions inclusive of transformations and full lifecycle implementations.
  3. Must possess prior experience supporting and integrating with PeopleSoft.
  4. Must possess extensive experience developing end-to-end proof of concepts for proposed solutions.
  5. Prior experience developing roadmaps for application portfolio to ensure alignment with business goals – proven leadership across multiple products throughout their life cycles (idea conception/product release/maintenance).
  6. Must possess strong proficiency w/ Cloud Architectures and Services in multi-cloud environments.
  7. Must possess proven experience building high performance and leading team of engineering managers.
  8. Exceptional verbal / written communication skills – excellent interpersonal skills required.
  9. Must possess master’s degree in related discipline (Bachelor’s degree in related discipline MAY be accepted for the right candidate).
  10. Prior healthcare experience.
Additional Qualifications
  1. Experience required in systems and solutions for HCM, FSCM, ELM, Talent Management, Time & Attendance, Supply Cabinet Software.
  2. Masters degree in Comp Science/related field.
  3. Min 15 years of exp in IT mgmt.
  4. Clear/concise communication across all levels/technical depths.
  5. Hands-on exp building software in object-oriented languages/cloud technologies/modern technology stacks.
  6. Manage multiple dependencies/drive alignment on strategy/complex technical problems.
  7. Leadership on multiple products throughout their life cycles (idea conception/product release/maintenance).
  8. Understanding of Architectural Design Patterns/Domain Driven Design.
  9. Strong software engineering/software architecture skills.
  10. Implementation of modern domain driven design patterns (micro-services/containers, disposable, reactive, stateless/distributed patterns).
  11. Exp with open source technologies (NodeJS, React, Python, Flutter, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle/DynamoDB database(s).
  12. Strong hands-on exp with performance/scalability mgmt of Kubernetes, Containers, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Kafka, SpringBoot, Java/Python based applications.
  13. Expert in problem identification/triaging of complex multi-tier systems.
  14. Exp building top talent/high performance teams, directing multiple teams/engineering managers.
  15. Exp of starting/growing teams/organizations under their direct leadership.
