Job description

_n_Logic is seeking a Technical Digital Documentation Support to support anticipated work in the Fort Eustis, VA area. This role is aligned with upcoming proposal efforts and will play a key part providing digital documentation of project tests conducted locally or at remote test sites as needed to include potential in-flight digital documentation support.

In this role, you will contribute to mission-critical efforts by applying your expertise in drafting documentation while working alongside government and industry partners in a collaborative environment. This is an opportunity to be considered early for a high-impact effort supporting critical defense missions.

Responsibilities

• Determining the best method of documenting results that ensures a comprehensive, accurate, and objective portrayal of the subject/test.

• Extensive digital documentation editing and post processing and the use of high-end digital editing software.

• Integrating existing equipment with newly Government procured equipment to provide flexible, rugged, miniaturized, expandable, supportable, data acquisition of digital instrumentation systems for research development and project support.

• Providing high speed digital documentation support to the SID ballistic test range of destructive testing by ballistic impact, tension, compression and explosion as well as support to the SID engine test facility and special projects as require.

• Aiding in processing digital documentation equipment to commercial manufacturers for repairs and/or calibrations as needed.

• Maintaining and increasing technical competence/skills through training and independent study in digital imagery utilizing computerization and video inputs and outputs.

• Providing and/or updating the SID digital documentation that clearly demonstrates facility capabilities.

• Maintaining the SID film library by adding and logging new and previouslyrecorded technical films/test videos for use in promoting aviation research.

Required Qualifications

• Active, in-scope Secret security clearance required
• High School diploma or High School equivalency certificate
• This position is considered an entry level position so no prior experience isrequired. However, the Contractor shall show professional and career interest in digitaldocumentation by previous attendance at related seminars and/or completion of related formal coursework in this area. This individual will be responsible for assisting more senior personnel and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more seniorpositions.

• Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $123,000–$154,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, education, certifications, security clearance level, geographic location, contract labor category, and applicable government contract requirements. This position is contingent upon contract award.
