Job summary

Ralph Lauren is seeking a Technical Designer to lead creation, maintenance, and approval of tech packs in PLM, guiding suppliers to production-ready garments.

You will collaborate with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, and global sourcing to meet design, fit, construction, and calendar goals. Proficiency in Gerber, PLM, and Illustrator is required; Browzwear or 3D apps preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Apparel Manufacturing, Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required.
• Knowledge of Browzwear or other 3D applications preferred.
• Familiar with Gerber, PLM, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and approve tech packs in PLM to instruct suppliers and factories.
• Ensure tech packs include measurements, construction sketches, imagery, and data.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, and sourcing teams.
• Own Tech Pack Reviews and ensure information is uploaded in PLM.
• Monitor workload and deadlines; support fit sessions and reviews.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners across global teams.
