Top Dog Recruiting seeks a Technical Designer to join our client’s team in New York, NY on-site. You will develop technical documentation and manage fit, construction, and quality across women’s apparel.
The role requires 3–5 years in Technical Design, proficiency in Illustrator and CAD, and strong attention to detail. Collaboration with Design, Production, and vendors is essential to meet timelines and brand standards.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field.
- 3–5 years of Technical Design experience in apparel.
- Experience with women's apparel; outerwear/activewear preferred.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and CAD software.
- Strong garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit evaluation.
Mansioni
- Develop and maintain detailed tech packs with measurements, grading, and construction details.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related documentation.
- Conduct and participate in fit sessions using live models.
- Review prototypes and pre-production garments with pattern makers and manufacturers.
- Ensure samples meet standards for fit, quality, and design intent.
- Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and vendors.
- Maintain adherence to timelines and brand standards.
