Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a temporary Technical Designer for the Men’s Young Customer (Nordstrom Made brands) at our downtown Seattle headquarters. This hybrid role requires four in-office days and one remote day per week. The assignment spans from 26 Oct 2026 to 4 Dec 2026, with potential for changes based on business needs.

You will cover all technical design responsibilities, including tech pack handoffs, fittings, and vendor communications, contributing to the success of Nordstrom Made products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in Technical Design or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Apparel Design, Apparel Manufacturing, Pattern Making or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

POSITION NOTE:

This position is being offered at a TEMPORARY assignment at Nordstrom. The expected duration of this temporary assignment is from 10/26/2026 to 12/04/2026, subject to change based on the needs of the business. The position will end at the conclusion of the assignment.

WORK LOCATION:

This position is located at Nordstrom's downtown Seattle headquarters and follows a hybrid work model, with four days in the office and one remote workday each week.

Project Scope:

This temporary Technical Designer will help cover all technical design responsibilities for the Men’s Young Customer (Nordstrom Made brands).

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual
