NELSON is seeking a Technical Designer II to join our HealthcarePractice. The Technical Designer II supports project administration, design development, and drawing production across all project phases.

Responsibilities include preparing construction documents, updating design docs with redlines, conducting field surveys, and ensuring deliverables meet NELSON standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications
• Update design documents and incorporate "red lines" as needed
• Assist other team members while conducting field surveys as required
• Participate in the design process as directed
• Provide material, product, and system research and compile project data
• Order samples and create material boards
• Prepare Addenda and Bulletin documentation
• Maintain and update rack sets and projects records
• Plot/Prepare drawings for digital transmittance to consultants, clients and/or contractor
• Log Shop Drawings and assist in Shop Drawing comment translation
• Follow NELSON standards and guidelines in the preparation of deliverables
• Review your own work and make corrections prior completing an assignment

The Technical Designer II is responsible for project construction documentation, working with the project team to assist overall efforts of completing various project phases. The Technical Designer II provides support primarily in project administration, design development, and drawing production in all phases.
