Job summary

Chico's (Fort Myers, FL) is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Designer to uphold fit and quality through the development process. You will work with Brand teams to translate fit details and ensure consistency across styles.

Work closely with designers and merchants, execute tech packs from Development to PP, and collaborate with vendors to address fit and construction issues while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (Fashion Design preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in apparel industry required.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in weekly fit sessions with designers and merchants.
• Recommend improvements on specs, pattern, construction to enhance fit and quality.
• Prepare tech packs from Development to PP for assigned garments and other classifications.
• Communicate with vendors about fit, specs, grading and construction; maintain records.
