Job summary

Chico’s is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to uphold fit and quality across assigned styles. You will lead fit sessions, work with designers and vendors, and prepare detailed tech packs from development to pre-production. Strong knowledge of pattern/construction and PLM tools is essential.

Fort Myers, FL-based, full-time role. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in apparel, plus an Associate and preferably a Bachelor’s in fashion.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in the apparel industry.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and may lead weekly fit sessions.
• Collaborates with designers and merchants to translate fit and aesthetic details.
• Makes recommendations on specs, pattern, construction methods to improve fit and quality.
• Executes tech packs from Development to PP for assigned garments and additional product classifications.
