Job summary

The Workshop LA is seeking a Technical Designer to join our Los Angeles, CA onsite team. You will work within the Men's Lifestyle RTW group, partnering with design and production to bring garments from concept to final fit.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving fit issues early in development. You will collaborate across categories, supporting women's Lifestyle when priorities shift, contributing to a fast-paced, detail‑driven design environment

Qualifications

• Proven technical design experience in men's RTW.
• Ability to lead fittings independently and communicate fit intent clearly.
• Working knowledge of women's Lifestyle technical design, with willingness to support that category when needed.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset in a fast-paced design environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit sessions and fittings for men's Lifestyle RTW, partnering with design and production to achieve brand-standard fit.
• Build and maintain tech packs, spec sheets, and fit comments throughout the development process.
• Communicate directly with overseas factories and vendors to resolve fit and construction issues.
• Track garments through each fit stage, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround.
• Collaborate with the broader technical design team, providing support on women's Lifestyle as needed when priorities shift.
