Job summary

Aluvision Inc. is seeking a dynamic designer with a passion for engineered products to visualize exhibit structures in Autodesk Inventor and translate designs into production-ready blueprints.

You will generate quotes in the ERP system and work with account management on technical support for customers. The ideal candidate holds a design degree or CAD certification, with CAD experience and a strong eye for modular systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or CAD-related certification is required.
• Associates/Certification in CAD accepted; a mechanical/civil engineering degree is a plus.
• Experience with CAD software; Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
• Strong 3D understanding and technical interest.
• Interest in modular design and strong visual acuity.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D visualization of exhibit structures using Autodesk Inventor.
• Generate quotes from 3D visuals within the ERP system.
• Convert technical drawings into production blueprints.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to address project needs.
• Support customers technically and participate in meetings as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning to grow in the role.

In this position you will report to the Director of Technical Design and your responsibilities will include:

• Create 3D visualization of exhibit structures within our modular system via Autodesk Inventor from engineer approved designs
• Generate quotes based on 3D visualization within the ERP system
• Convert technical drawing into production blueprints for approved orders
• Communicate across departments to collaborate on project needs
• Work closely with the account management team on technical support for customers; participate in customer meetings as necessary
• Continuous learning and development to meet the needs of the role

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in relevant design program or Associates/Certification in Design/CAD required; A degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering a plus
• Experience with CAD software; Autodesk Inventor experience is a plus
• You have a good 3D understanding and a deep technical interest
• Interest in designing using a modular system and a strong visual acuity
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
