Job summary

The Lilly Pulitzer team seeks an Assistant Technical Designer to translate Fashion Design concepts into technical packages with complete fitting, sizing, grading, and construction details for premium apparel.

You will support fit sessions, create technical flats, perform pattern making and size grading, and ensure deadlines within the Product Development calendar while collaborating across teams in a hybrid King of Prussia, PA office.

Qualifications

Four-year college degree in Fashion Design or related field is required.
1–2 years of Technical Design experience in fashion/retail is preferred.
Proficiency using Centric PLM, Accumark, Illustrator, Acrobat, and MS Office on Windows.

Responsibilities

Translate fashion design concepts into technical design specification packages (tech packs).
Conduct fittings and assess garment construction.
Perform pattern making and size grading.
Take notes during fittings and meetings and measure garments accurately.
Pre-fit samples before fittings and evaluate grading, tolerance, and safety standards.
Create technical flat sketches.
Review merchandise feedback from e-commerce and retail channels.
