Job description

As a Delivery Lead at Cleartelligence, you will serve as the operational leader for one of our three client portfolios. This is a leadership role that sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and delivery execution, and it carries accountability for both.

You will be part of the Portfolio Leadership Team (PLT) alongside the Portfolio Management Lead, who owns revenue expansion and executive relationships, and the Solutions Architect, who owns technical thought leadership. Together the three of you run the portfolio. The Project and Program Managers working within the portfolio will report to you, and you will carry a target utilization of 50% so that you have the capacity to lead, not just to deliver. This role reports to the COO.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating, Staffing & Commercial Support

  • Own estimates and staffing plans for the portfolio, and write SOWs that set engagements up to succeed.
  • Coordinate resourcing across the portfolio, balancing committed work against incoming growth opportunities.
  • Participate in pitches for both new and existing accounts within the portfolio.
  • Surface delivery insights that inform account plans and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Support renewals, change orders, and scope conversations in partnership with the PLT.

• Delivery Execution & Quality

  • Own day-to-day project execution across the portfolio, including timelines, status reporting, communication, and delivery quality.
  • Ensure projects land on time, on budget, and within margin.
  • Engage early as opportunities transition from business development into delivery, so that what was sold is what gets built.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and extensible, and that scope stays stable through the life of the engagement.
  • Step into Yellow and Red projects to lead the turnaround, and firefight delivery problems as they arise.

• Client Relationships & Satisfaction

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with business stakeholders across the portfolio.
  • Own the operational satisfaction and day-to-day delivery experience of your clients.
  • Manage issue resolution and maintain transparent, proactive communication when things go sideways.
  • Collect client feedback, act on it, and close the loop.

• Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead the Project and Program Managers assigned to your portfolio as direct reports.
  • Mentor and upskill your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure the use of best-in-class delivery methodologies, frameworks, and standards across the portfolio.

How Success Is Measured

Performance in this role is measured across growth, delivery, and client satisfaction:

• Revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell within the portfolio, and account expansion rate.
• Portfolio profitability and margin performance against target.
• On-time and on-budget delivery, project SLA adherence, and milestone achievement.
• Scope stability and solution scalability across engagements.
• Support renewal success within the portfolio.
• NPS and CSAT from working-level stakeholders, feedback quality, and issue resolution time.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced delivery leader who is as comfortable defending an estimate as rescuing an at-risk project. The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of experience in program, project, or delivery management, ideally within a data, analytics, or technology consulting environment.
• A track record of owning delivery across a portfolio of concurrent engagements rather than a single project.
• Demonstrated ability to build estimates, write SOWs, and construct staffing plans that hold up against actuals.
• Experience turning around at-risk engagements and resolving escalations directly with clients.
• Commercial instincts, with real comfort participating in pitches, spotting expansion opportunities, and supporting renewals.
• Working fluency with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt), cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), and analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) - enough to challenge an estimate and assess technical risk.
• Experience managing and developing project and program managers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the range to move between a working team and a business stakeholder in the same afternoon.
• A margin mindset, balancing client outcomes against portfolio profitability.

The anticipated base salary for this role is $175,000 - 200,000. Final pay rate will be determined based on experience, qualifications and geographic location
