Job summary

Merge is seeking a Content Marketer to elevate the brand through SEO and AI-powered content. You will own blog posts, technical guides, and launch content designed to rank and be cited by AI assistants. Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to translate product work into content developers want to read.

You will lead keyword research, on-page SEO, and internal linking to drive organic growth while maintaining a consistent brand voice across all Merge channels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of content marketing experience at a B2B SaaS or developer-focused technology company.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio of technical content.
• Comfort writing for technical audiences, including developers and engineering leaders; familiarity with APIs, integrations, or AI/LLM products is a strong plus.
• Deep experience with SEO and working understanding of AEO/GEO and citation growth.
• Track record of measurably growing organic visibility for a B2B or developer brand.

Responsibilities

• Own the written content calendar end to end with an SEO/AEO-first strategy.
• Grow citations in AI assistants and answer engines by structuring content for retrieval.
• Write high-quality technical and product content, including blog posts, launch announcements, and case studies.
• Turn product releases into compelling launch narratives across blog, email, and social channels.
• Partner with engineering, product, and solutions teams to source technically accurate content ideas.
• Develop customer stories and case studies by interviewing customers and internal teams.
• Drive organic growth through keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, and topical authority.
• Maintain a consistent, credible brand voice across all Merge publishing surfaces.
