Job summary

ALSO seeks a Content Strategist to own our blog and core website content end‑to‑end, driving organic traffic and brand awareness through SEO‑driven, AI‑assisted workflows. You’ll collaborate with copywriters and the technical team to ensure top‑tier editorial quality in a hybrid Seattle setting.

You bring 4+ years in content strategy or editorial roles, a strong SEO foundation, and experience with AI tools and schema markup to boost AI and search visibility across platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in content strategy, editorial management, or SEO roles with ownership of a blog or content program
• Proven track record of driving organic traffic growth with long‑form content
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimization, content clustering, internal linking
• Working knowledge of AEO/GEO concepts: answer optimization, LLM citation patterns, entity-based content strategy
• Excellent editorial judgment and ability to translate data into clear content strategy
• Experience with AI writing tools in editorial capacity is a plus
• Familiarity with schema markup (FAQ, HowTo, Article) and its role in AI/search visibility is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the long‑form content roadmap and editorial calendar for the blog and core website pages
• Enforce editorial standards across all published content
• Manage the content pipeline from ideation through briefing, drafting/editing, review, and publish
• Partner with copywriters and AI-assisted drafting workflows, maintaining high quality of AI drafts
• Conduct keyword research and content-gap analysis to find organic opportunities
• Build topical authority through content clusters and internal linking
• Develop content briefs translating SEO data into copywriter direction
• Structure long‑form content for LLM readability and citation with FAQ/HowTo/Schema
• Track AI citation and visibility across AI tools and translate data into decisions
• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and engagement using GSC/GA4/Ahrefs/Semrush
• Collaborate with tech team on-page elements affecting content performance
• Report on organic traffic growth and AI visibility to stakeholders
• Partner with product, brand, and demand gen to align content with growth goals
