Purpose:

Project/Operational Managers or Workstream/Project Leaders utilize in-depth knowledge, advanced problem-solving skills, and awareness of internal and client priorities to implement project scope and objectives. They independently develop conclusions from analyses and apply results in specific client contexts, defining new approaches to complex challenges and working with greater independence. They lead larger workstreams, develop internal team members, and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of smaller assignments/projects, including team and client engagement, setting expectations, and driving accountability. Ability to develop case studies and lead multi-office projects.
  • Interface with clients at higher organizational levels, managing relationships and supporting account growth. Build relationships with key decision-makers for future opportunities.
  • Responsible for a portion of project revenue, understanding the impact of successful delivery on current and future revenue.
  • Coordinate with other workstreams and management, proactively setting priorities for complex, multi-project impacts.
  • Break down and structure complex problems independently and systematically.
  • Work with independence, updating managers on progress, and handling complex or unusual assignments with greater autonomy.
  • Manage conflict resolution and negotiations with broader organizational implications, influence organizational direction, and assist in team development.
  • Communicate and present complex proposals to senior management effectively, persuade and influence others, and structure presentations and workshops with guidance.

Qualifications:

What you will bring:

  • Experienced Power Project Manager, preferably with Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Cognizant of diverse power technologies.
  • Experience in Owner's Engineering Services, capable of managing clients.
  • Construction or commissioning experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling and Primavera outputs.
  • Flexible technical skills with analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of techno-economic modeling is a plus.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to manage remote, multi-office teams.
  • HSE awareness and experience in implementation.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage project budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to draft client proposals.
  • Knowledge of project contracting and techno-contractual aspects.
