Purpose:

Project/Operational Managers or Workstream/Project Leaders apply in-depth knowledge, advanced problem solving skills, and an awareness of internal and client priorities to implement project scope and client objectives. They independently develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to the client-specific context. They define new approaches to complex challenges within established parameters, working with greater independence and conferring with managers on complex assignments. They lead larger workstreams or areas of assignments, projects, and proposals, focusing on developing internal team members and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Take accountability for smaller assignments/projects, including team and client engagement, setting expectations, and driving accountability in others. Develop case studies and lead multi-office projects.
  • Begin to interface with clients at higher levels, manage client relationships, and support account management, building relationships with key decision makers for future opportunities.
  • Responsible for a portion of project revenue, understanding the impact of successful delivery on current and future revenue.
  • Interface with other workstreams and management, proactively setting priorities for complex, multi-project impacts.
  • Independently analyze and structure complex problems, keeping managers updated on progress.
  • Handle conflict resolution and negotiation with broader organizational implications, influence organizational direction, and assist in team development and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior management, persuading and influencing others, with a participative and cooperative approach.

Qualifications:

What you will bring:

  • Experienced Power engineer, preferably with Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Cognizant of diverse power technologies and experienced in Owner's Engineering Services, with client management skills.
  • Construction or commissioning experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling, Primavera, techno-economic modeling, and contractual aspects.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and proposal drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage remote, multi-office teams, with HSE awareness and proven budget management skills.
