Purpose:

Project/Operational Managers or Workstream/Project Leaders utilize in-depth knowledge, advanced problem-solving skills, and awareness of internal and client priorities to implement project scope and objectives. They independently develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to specific client contexts, often defining new approaches to complex challenges. They work with more independence, consult with managers on complex assignments, lead larger workstreams, and focus on developing internal team members and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Own smaller assignments/projects, including team and client engagement, setting expectations, and driving accountability. Capable of developing case studies and leading multi-office projects.
  • Begin interfacing with higher-level clients, managing relationships, and supporting account management to build future business opportunities.
  • Responsible for a portion of project revenue, understanding how successful delivery impacts revenue.
  • Interface with other workstreams and management, proactively prioritizing complex, multi-project situations.
  • Break down and structure complex problems independently.
  • Work with greater independence, updating managers on progress, and handling complex or unusual assignments.
  • Begin influencing organizational direction through conflict resolution and negotiation. Assist in team development, including training, appraisal, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior management, persuading and influencing others effectively. Use participative management and structure presentations with guidance.

Qualifications:

What you will bring:

  • Experienced Power engineer, preferably with Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Knowledge of diverse Power technologies.
  • Experience in Owner's Engineering Services, capable of managing clients.
  • Construction or commissioning experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of project scheduling, Primavera outputs.
  • Flexible with analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of techno-economic modeling is advantageous.
  • Team player with remote team management skills.
  • HSE awareness and implementation experience.
  • Proven project budget management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to draft client proposals.
  • Knowledge of project contracting and contractual aspects.
