Purpose:

Project/Operational Managers or Workstream/Project Leaders utilize in-depth knowledge, advanced problem-solving skills, and awareness of internal and client priorities to implement project scope and objectives. They independently develop conclusions from analyses and apply results within the client context, often defining new approaches to complex challenges. They work with greater independence, lead larger workstreams, and focus on developing team members and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for smaller assignments/projects, including team and client engagement, expectation setting, and driving accountability.
  • Interface with clients at higher organizational levels, managing relationships and supporting account management.
  • Responsible for a portion of project revenue, understanding the impact of delivery on revenue.
  • Coordinate with other workstreams and management, setting priorities for complex, multi-project situations.
  • Break down and structure complex problems systematically.
  • Work independently on complex assignments, updating managers on progress.
  • Begin to influence organizational direction through conflict resolution and negotiation, and assist in team development.
  • Effectively communicate complex proposals and reports to senior management, persuading and influencing others.

Qualifications:

What you will bring:

  • Experienced Power engineer, preferably with Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Cognizant of diverse power technologies.
  • Experience in Owner's Engineering Services, capable of managing clients.
  • Construction or commissioning experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling, familiar with Primavera outputs.
  • Flexible with analytical skills, techno-economic modeling knowledge is advantageous.
  • Team player with ability to manage remote, multi-office teams.
  • HSE awareness and implementation experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage project budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting proposals.
  • Knowledge of project contracting and contractual aspects.
