Purpose:

Project/Operational Managers or Workstream/Project Leaders apply in-depth knowledge, advanced problem solving skills and an awareness of internal and client priorities to implement project scope and client objectives. They independently develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to client-specific contexts. They define new approaches to complex challenges within established parameters. They work with greater independence, conferring with managers on complex assignments. They lead larger workstreams, projects, and proposals, focusing on developing internal team members and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Take accountability for smaller assignments/projects, including team and client engagement, setting expectations, and driving accountability. Develop case studies, lead multi-office projects.
  • Begin to interface with clients at higher levels, manage client relationships, and support account management. Build relationships with key decision makers for future opportunities.
  • Responsible for a portion of project revenue, understanding its impact on current and future revenue.
  • Interface with other workstreams and management, proactively setting priorities for complex, multi-project impacts.
  • Independently analyze and structure complex problems.
  • Work with greater independence, updating managers on progress and conferring on complex or unusual assignments.
  • Begin to influence organizational direction through conflict resolution and negotiation, assist in team development, and troubleshoot issues. May guide assignment or workstream strategy.
  • Communicate complex proposals and reports effectively to senior management, persuade and influence others, and structure presentations with guidance.

Qualifications:

What will you bring:

  • Experienced Power engineer, ME preferred.
  • Knowledge of diverse Power technologies.
  • Experience in Owner's Engineering Services and client management.
  • Construction or commissioning experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of project scheduling and Primavera.
  • Technical flexibility and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of techno-economic modeling is a plus.
  • Team player with ability to manage remote, multi-office teams.
  • HSE awareness and experience.
  • Proven project budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including drafting proposals.
  • Understanding of project contracting.
