Norseman Services, a boutique ServiceNow consultancy, is hiring a Technical Consultant / Senior ServiceNow Developer to deliver hands-on ServiceNow engagements for federal, healthcare, and regulated sectors. You will partner with architects and stakeholders to translate designs into platform-aligned configurations, automations, and integrations, mentoring juniors and guiding delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive ServiceNow development experience.
• ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Demonstrated ability to lead consulting work across at least two ServiceNow products or modules.
• Strong collaboration skills across product, partner, customer, and consulting teams.
• Comfort integrating AI-enabled tools, automation, and AI-driven insights into the work.
• Willingness to travel when an engagement requires it.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and modules using configuration-first principles.
• Configure and enhance ServiceNow workflows, UI, client scripts, business rules, catalogs, integrations, and orchestration.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into solutions aligned with business objectives and ServiceNow platform strategy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, functionality, and security issues.
• Document design, development, testing, deployment, configuration management, and version-control work.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Support code reviews, quality assurance, and delivery standards.
• Provide high-level estimates and help break technical work into features, epics, stories, and technical spikes.
• Stay current on ServiceNow platform releases and bring relevant capabilities into new and existing solutions.

Norseman Services is hiring a Technical Consultant / Senior ServiceNow Developer to support hands-on ServiceNow delivery across federal, healthcare, and regulated-enterprise engagements.

This role is ideal for someone who knows the ServiceNow platform deeply, builds with discipline, and understands that great delivery is not just about making something work. It is about building solutions that are maintainable, understandable, upgrade-aware, and aligned to the customer's long-term platform strategy.

You will partner with Solutions Architects, Business Process Consultants, and customer stakeholders to translate approved designs into platform-aligned configuration, scripted automation, integrations, and workflow solutions. You should be comfortable owning development work, participating in technical conversations, supporting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and documenting the "why" behind your design decisions.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

• 5+ years of progressive ServiceNow development experience.
• ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Demonstrated ability to lead consulting work across at least two ServiceNow products or modules.

• Comfort integrating AI-enabled tools, automation, and AI-driven insights into the work.
• Willingness to travel when an engagement requires it.

Nice to Have

• 7+ years of ServiceNow platform development with broad module exposure, including Employee Center, ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
• ServiceNow CAD and/or CIS certifications.
• Advanced ServiceNow scripting experience, including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
• Experience leading discovery workshops and customer-facing product demos.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
