Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s in Technical Communication or English, or Master’s with 18 grad hours.
• SACSCOC accreditation standards knowledge.
• Ability to teach ENGL 2311 (Technical and Business Writing) in multiple formats (LEC, HYC, ONL/DLS) and ETWR courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach courses in Technical Communications including ENGL 2311 and ETWR.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Mentor students and ensure nondiscrimination in instruction.
• Stay current in Technical Communications through professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.
• Participate in department governance with compensation on hourly basis.
