We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Technical Assistant to support our Project Managers and technical project teams. This position helps keep projects organized and moving efficiently by coordinating project documentation, client communication, reporting, billing support, contracts, and project closeout activities.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can manage multiple priorities, work effectively with Project Managers and technical staff, and interact professionally with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career supporting engineering, construction, and materials testing projects.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, construction management, engineering technology, project management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a professional business, technical, or project-support environment preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability and willingness to learn project management, billing, and reporting software.
Strong judgment, professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential or sensitive information.
Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, technical staff, administrative personnel, and clients.
Full-time, in-office position, generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime based on business needs.
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and can anticipate what needs to be done rather than simply waiting for instructions. The successful candidate will become an important part of the project team by keeping documentation organized, following up on outstanding items, supporting Project Managers, and helping ensure projects stay accurate, organized, and on schedule.
