MedQuest Associates is looking for a Technical Assistant (Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or CNA), PRN*.

*PRN means on an "as needed" basis.

We’re a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program, and we want you.

This role will be based on-site at Carolina Imaging of Fayetteville.

Serve as an assistant to the Technologists to ensure patients are prepared for their imaging exam and complete the imaging exam effectively.

• Screen patients prior to exam day
• Assist patients in completing paperwork
• Obtain medical history from patients
• Escort patients to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room
• Screen patients for the exam—mainly MRI and CT exams
• Assist the technologist in preparing the exam table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)
• Collate films and deliver to Radiologist
• Maintain linen inventory
• Assist with quarterly imaging inventory
• Research availability and obtain reports and films requested by Radiologist
• Serve as liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have CPR certification

Prior Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience preferred, experience as a Medical Assistant, LPN, EMT, or CNA is a plus
