Job summary

The Whitehead Institute in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Technical Assistant I to perform bench level experiments and small independent projects that support our scientific program. You will operate lab equipment, prepare supplies, and report findings to the supervisor, helping optimize experimental workflows.

Analyzes experimental data, addresses methodological problems in experimental protocols and results, and reports data to supervisor.CHARACTERISTIC DUTIESIn consultation with the Principal Investigator or other project manager, conducts bench level experiments and small independent research projects.Operates lab equipment and prepares and orders necessary supply stocks. May work with vendors to address equipment, reagent, or supply issues.Documents, compiles, and assists in interpreting experimental data.
