Job summary

ECU Health North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, NC is looking for a Radiology Technical Assistant to support the radiology department by assisting with patient care, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring a safe imaging environment. You will work closely with technologists, providers, and patients to facilitate high-quality, patient-centered care across locations.

This full-time position offers day and evening shifts: 7:30am–4:00pm or 3:00pm–11:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in patient care or a healthcare setting is preferred.

Position Summary

The Radiology Technical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the radiology department by assisting with patient care, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring a safe and reliable environment for imaging procedures. This position works closely with technologists, providers, and patients to facilitate high-quality, patient-centered care. The individual duties can vary depending on the radiology department's location. However, it would include some combination of the following duties and responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Basic Life Support Required
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in patient care or a healthcare facility setting.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $21.12

Other Information

• Full-Time; 40 hours
• Monday - Friday
• Days: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Evenings: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
