DuraTech Industries, a growing global Printing Manufacturer located in La Crosse WI, seeks a Technical Artist to prepare accurate artwork from customer-provided materials using Adobe Illustrator.

The role preserves original files, creates editable copies, and ensures artwork meets customer specs and manufacturing requirements. Collaboration with Engineering and other teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in technical art, graphic design, drafting, or related field.
• Experience preparing technical artwork or interpreting engineering drawings preferred.
• Experience using Adobe Illustrator preferred; must develop proficiency to prepare production artwork independently.
• Experience with manufacturing artwork or revision-controlled files preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare artwork and production files from customer-supplied artwork and drawings using Illustrator.
• Preserve original files and create editable working copies with proper naming conventions.
• Review artwork for completeness, dimensions, tolerances, and revision consistency; raise questions as needed.
• Prepare proofs, print-ready artwork, and production separations for printed electronics and quick-turn work.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Printed Electronics, Art, Customer Service, and Process Planning.
