Kainos is seeking a Technical Architect to lead teams in developing high-quality software solutions. Salary offered:
17 000 - 28 000 PLN gross per month (contract of employment)
GSS - is a FinTech start up with heavy backing, both financially and from across their target industry. Their vision is to build an on-demand service to replace an old and ineffective system which their target market all has deployed on premises. The core functionality will be commercial software, similar to that currently deployed on premises.
Kainos are building all of the surrounding services: infrastructure as code, message handling, data handling and persistence, analytics, operations, orchestration, integration with customers, and a whole lot more.
This is Kainos’ largest commercial sector project – and will really put us on the map: multi-million Euro deal, multiple years of ongoing development and service. A chance to be build something that changes an industry!
We work fully remotely in Kainos but we might require you to visit our Gdansk office occasionally for team activities or company events.
For candidates based in 3city – our Gdansk office is open so if you prefer to work from the office or in a hybrid model, you are welcome to do so. We adjusted the office so it follows all pandemic restrictions.
Some of our projects might require traveling to the customer site in the UK. If you would be willing to travel to the UK, it would be crucial for you to have easy access to the airport. We would of course cover your traveling expenses.
Main purpose of role & level in the business:
As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for leading teams and developing high-quality solutions that delight our customers and impact the lives of users worldwide. As a technical leader on a project, you will work with customer architects to agree on technical designs, advising on estimated effort and technical implications of user stories and user journeys. It’s a fast-paced environment so it is important for you to make sound, reasoned decisions. You will do this whilst learning about new technologies and approaches, with room to learn, develop and grow.
Experience in technical ownership for a product/software project, including architecture, estimation, product planning and user story/requirement creation.
Understands non-functional concerns for customers and has experience incorporating these into the application design.
Has experience with public cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
Able to simply and clearly communicate technical design in conversation, documentation and presentations.
Able to make effective decisions within fast-moving delivery.
Experience mentoring and coaching members of your team and wider community.
Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate issues to technical and non-technical people.
Experience in multiple programming languages and data storage technologies.
Active participation in knowledge sharing activities, both within the team and at a wider capability level and externally where appropriate.
Has participated in technology communities.
