Job summary

Veriipro in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Technical Architect with 15+ years of software engineering/architecture experience to lead a modern collateral management platform modernization. The role focuses on API-first, event-driven, modular, microservices-based design and cloud-native deployment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering/architecture experience.
• 6+ years as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect.
• Banking, commercial lending, collateral, or credit-platform experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot or .NET, REST/GraphQL, Kafka, microservices, DDD, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong data architecture experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, including ETL/ELT and reconciliation.
• Experience with legacy/COTS platform migration and phased cutover.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, SSO, OAuth 2.0, encryption, secrets management, and audit logging.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and architecture governance experience.

• Define collateral data models, data quality, reconciliation, migration, coexistence, and legacy decommissioning strategies.
• Establish security, IAM, RBAC, encryption, audit, resilience, scalability, DR, and observability standards.
• Define CI/CD, DevSecOps, testing, cloud, and Kubernetes strategies.
• Provide technical leadership to onsite/offshore engineering teams and drive architecture governance.
• Partner with business and collateral SMEs to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support phased delivery covering core collateral controls, automation, and future AI/ML capabilities.

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Technical Architect with 15+ years of software engineering/architecture experience, including 6+ years in Technical/Solution Architecture within banking, commercial lending, collateral, or credit platforms.

Lead the architecture of a modern, cloud-native collateral management platform replacing legacy/vendor technology. The platform will be API-first, event-driven, modular, microservices-based, and integrated with loan origination, loan servicing, risk, customer, and document systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for collateral services, workflows, APIs, events, data, UI, and integration layers.
